According to a recent survey done by Bankrate, owning a home is still the number one achievement for many Americans today despite the recent housing market. In fact, 74 percent surveyed said owning a home is their top priority and more important than retiring or having a successful career.
But is this dream still alive for the younger generation, Gen Z and Millennials? The answer is yes with 59% of this demographic saying pride of ownership and a place to call home is the primary reason they want to own. Coming under that is the financial stability and wealth building owning a home can bring.
